This example features the two-line dial, showing only “Submariner” and “1000ft = 300m” — a notably cleaner configuration than the later four-line COSC dial.

Inside is Rolex’s Calibre 3130 automatic movement, with a 300m water-resistance rating.

The 14060M is particularly appreciated for preserving the traditional Submariner formula before the transition to the ceramic-bezel generation: 40mm case, aluminium bezel, drilled lugs and no date.
